FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

Where do you meet?

We meet at different dog parks in and around the city. Unless otherwise specified we always meet in an enclosed dog park to ensure the safety of the dogs.

What do you do in the winter time?

We still meet in the winter sometimes outside and sometimes at JB’s Indoor Dog Park. Please note that should we be meeting inside at JB’s Indoor Dog Park there is a 10 dog minimum and a $20 fee to be paid in advance.

Is there a fee for these meetups?

Yes, there is a $10 yearly fee that goes towards towards covering costs for BTB like web hosting for our website where you can see featured members, get news and event information and participate in giveaways and other fun happenings that I create for our wonderful group. This fee is due the first meetup you attend.

What time do you meet?

Our times vary depending on where we meet and weather. In the summer time we meet early to ensure the safety of the dogs in the heat. In the winter time we meet a little later. It’s best to keep a close eye on our schedule because times can change depending on weather.

Does my dog have to be spayed/neutered?

We respect the individual owner’s choice and do not require your dogs to be spayed/neutered. We do ask all owners be watchful of their dogs and curb any unwanted/aggressive behavior.

Do I need to bring anything?

Yes. Please always bring water for your dogs. Most all of the outdoor parks have water fountains but on occasion they break. So we ask that you always be prepared with water. As for toys, I always bring some with me so it’s not necessary but also not discouraged.

Are kids allowed?

Yes children are welcome to come to the meetups. As with dogs we ask parents to keep an eye on their children to ensure safe and respectful treatment of the dogs. Any aggressive behavior by a child to a dog will result in them being asked to leave.

Does my dog need to be vaccinated?

Yes. You will be playing with other dogs and at dog parks so all dogs must be up to date with their vaccinations.

Will you or someone else be watching my dog?

No. All owners are required to keep close watch on their dogs to ensure safe and respectful play.

Do I need to pick up after my dog?

Yes! Please be sure to pick up after your dog as to not leave a mess for other owners. These meetups can get quite large and we want to make sure that the dogs are not running around in poop. While we cannot control what the park conditions are before we get there we can control the conditions for when we leave.
